Alerts to action

The daily scan flags concerning patterns here automatically. Each one stays until you deal with it and hit Resolve.

How the alerts work

The Alerts to action list at the top is filled by a daily scan that looks at the last 90 days of personal sick leave — recent behaviour, not a full-year total. It flags a pattern for the super admins to look at: a prompt for a conversation, never proof. Here's what it watches for:

Frequent short absences — many separate sick periods lately. Several short spells count as more disruptive than one longer illness of the same total length, so this is about how often someone is off, not how many days.

Friday/Monday clustering — a high share of their recent absences starting on a Friday or Monday.

Frequent half-days — several half-day sick mornings in the last 30–60 days.

30-day spike — a burst of separate absences in just the last 30 days.

Holiday bridging — sick days sitting right next to a public holiday or weekend.

The Sick leave by person section above uses these same signals: the recent windows (30 / 90 days) flag and explain patterns, while 6- and 12-month windows show a plain record with no flags. Child sick (veikindi barna) is excluded throughout.
